Sector Overview
Within the policy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ government, may Allah protect him, and its wise vision “Vision 2030” towards encouraging Saudi industrial sectors and diversifying income sources, the “Made in Saudi” initiative was launched, preceded by the establishment of the Saudi Exports Program with the aim of promoting national exports.
Accordingly, a branch of Mira Business Holding Company (MBHC) was established as a national company concerned with exports in general and Saudi exports in particular, based on scientific and practical foundations that ensure the spread of Saudi exports and their marketing internationally. It also supports the national business sector to benefit from financing programs provided by local and international financing institutions for exports.
Export Financing
Granting the foreign importer financing facilities (direct or indirect) for the goods, products, or services to be imported from the Kingdom, provided that the product is 100% Saudi, or includes production inputs valued at twenty-five percent (25%) within the Kingdom. This is in return for the importer or the foreign bank (importer’s bank) committing to pay the value of the exports after a specific period of time agreed upon.
Export
The company operates on two main axes regarding Saudi exports:
First: Financing Facilities
